Maintenance Custodian - Full Time - Evening Shift

REPORTS TO: Facilities Director

JOB FUNCTION: To keep the buildings in a clean and well-maintained condition, and to assist the Facilities Director and maintenance staff in providing students with a safe, secure and clean school.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent training or GED
Proficiency in cleaning and in basic repairs
Minimum two years’ experience or on-the-job training

MINIMUM GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Vacuum and clean assigned classrooms daily and dust all furniture
Mop and disinfect bathrooms and sanitary fixtures
Empty all trash cans daily, clean lobbies, lounges, offices and gym
Move furniture and equipment as required for various activities
Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch and use various tools and equipment necessary to complete required tasks
Subject to a Criminal Records Check as required by Board Policy

SALARY:

$13.00 - $14.00 per hour – 40 hours per week
